Eberlestock X2 Backpack | Full Gear Review & Field Test
This review features the Eberlestock X2 backpack, a compact and versatile pack designed for hunters who need a durable and efficient load-hauling system. With an updated design, the X2 features a tubular internal frame, detachable lid, batwing side compartments, MOLLE webbing, and compression straps, allowing hunters to pack gear efficiently and haul heavy loads like an elk hind quarter with ease. The silent suede material ensures stealth in the field, while the increased torso height and improved load-hauling system provide better comfort and stability. Built for single-day and short multi-day hunts, the Eberlestock X2 is designed to go in light and come out heavy.

Excellent quick review of a unique yet popular pack from Eberlestock there Dan.
One use case that you missed because it’s more of a Midwest or Eastern whitetail thing is that the X2 is a great pack to use with a tree saddle and platform. You can attach the platform to the face of the pack and put two sticks per side in between the batwings and strap everything down tightly. My cousin did that with great success last year. Plus that suede would make it a quiet whitetail hunting pack like the Mystery Ranch Treehouse line of packs.
